Questions on all things Queen Anne Dog Walking & Pet Care?
We’ve got you covered, check out the answers to common questions below, and if you don’t find what you are looking for please drop us an email at: info@queenannedogwalking.com
Why should I choose Queen Anne Dog Walking?
We love your pets as if they are our own, your pets are our family, and we provide the absolute best care. We take the time to get to know your pet so that we can alert you to any issues we see come up and we take pride in being more than “just a dog walker” by becoming your furry family member’s friend!
What area do you service?
We live and work on Queen Anne and that is our core area, we have dabbled in jobs just surrounding the neighborhood as well in case you are close but not quite within our borders.
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
We absolutely are licensed, bonded, and insured and we also have our Pet CPR/First Aid training so we can respond to unforeseen circumstances. We are happy to provide you with a copy of these documents upon request.
Do you have requirements for dogs for the dog-walking service?
Dogs must be leash trained, spayed or neutered, current on all required vaccinations, and have no history of aggression towards people or other animals. They must hold a current King County dog license, the number will be provided to QADW before the first walk.
How long is the meet & greet and what is involved?
We spend around 30 minutes going over your pet’s likes, dislikes, their personality, their medical history, and pertinent information to give them the best care. If we are a good fit, I introduce you to the TimeToPet app that we use for our contract, scheduling, payment, and housing the vet authorization forms.
Do you use an app?
We do! We want things to be as convenient for you as possible, so scheduling and payment are done through the TimeToPet app. Upon signing up with us we provide you with the link for the app.
When is payment due?
On the 3rd day of the month, we charge your previous month’s dog walks or pet care services to the card kept on file in the app.
Are there additional fees for holidays?
Yes, an additional $10 per service, 100% of the premium goes directly to the service provider. The following are the observed holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and the day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Do you have references?
We want you to be comfortable with having your pet in our care so we are happy to provide references for you. You can also check out the testimonials shared on our website and our reviews on our Facebook page.
I heard you sell pet photos, is that true?
The word has gotten out! We share some of our favorite photos on our social media accounts, if your pet is featured and you just have to have the photo, send us an email at info@queenannedogwalking.com and we’d be happy to sell you the photo.
